Nainital – The City of Lakes

Nainital the city of lakes . Having been there 2 times already, I’m still surprised to discover of new side of nanital with every trip I do here. After my most recent trip to nanital I decided to pen down a perfect itinerary trip to nainital.
How to reach nainital.

From most of the major city delhi, Dehradun regular buses ply to nainital.one can also drive down to Nainital from these cities.if using train, Kathgodam railway station located around 34 km away, is the nearest railway station to Nainital. Plenty of trains connect Nainital with Delhi and Dehradun.If you are coming by flight then The nearest Domestic Airport from Nainital is Pantnagar Airport,from Pantnagar, roughly one hour drive from the city. It is well connected to New Delhi and Mumbai.

To be honest nainital is a year round destination.

A beautiful lake in the centre of nainital town.you can do boating in the lake .or cycle around the lake and shop and eat some delicious street food from the numerous shop’s around the lake.

The road stretches for around one kilometer and is only meant for pedestrians. Local peeps enjoy jogging on Thandi Sadak and taking their pets for a stroll in the morning and evenings. Here you can feel the cool breeze blowing a kiss on your chubby cheeks.

This is the main commercial hub of the town of nainital.you can find plenty of shops with local stuff like woolen clothes, wooden items and unique candles of various shapes and sizes .you can Try special alu tikki from one of the stall while doing shopping.
